Dragonfly

This card is made using the Tim Holtz Layered Dragonfly Die & Embossing folder set. First I have used the Tim Holtz Layered Stencil - Bubble with Distress Blending Tool & Distress Pads; Tumbled Glass & Scattered Straw. Then stamped with Darkroom Door Background Stamp, French Script. The Dragonfly is also coloured using tumbled glass, scattered straw & walnut stain. I love these colour combinations & the new Tim Holtz Layered Dies.

Image coloured with Prismacolor Pencils & background stamped with Ranger Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink Cornflower Blue.

Orchids

CAS card so I could post it overseas, so no bulky embellishments. I have used the Darkroom Door Background Stamp Plaid and the Flourishes Stamp Set Orchids, coloured with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and water brush.

Little Chickadee's

I love this Chickadees Stamp from Northwoods Rubber Stamps Inc, it is so versatile. I have used JustRite Background Stamp Autumn Swirls and coloured the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I have had fantastic results with these markers on Canson Montval Watercolour Paper Medium 300gsm.

Filigree Delight

This card is for my lovely mum for Mother's Day.  I have used the Spellbinders Filigree Delights Die, Want2Scrap Finesse Swirls Pearls & stamped the image with Kaisercraft Botanical Clear Stamp which I have coloured with Prisma Colour Pencils. I have overlayed the Filigree Die Cut on patterned paper from the Pink Paislee London Market Collection.

I love using Prisma Colour pencils for colouring & then blending with Zest It Pencil Blend.  I have used other blending mediums such as White Spirit & Gamsol but Pencil Blend is my favourite.

 

Happy Birthday Wishes

I made this card for my lovely mum for her 76th birthday.  I have used Memory Box Die - Bella Bouquet (coloured with Distress Inks), Spellbinder's® Die from the Romantic Rectangles Set & Cuttlebug embossing folder - Birds & Swirls (inked with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass) using letterpress technique.  I have used 3D dots to build up the layers.
